New Scouting Alumni Association
The purpose of the San Diego - Imperial Council Eagle Scout Alumni Association (ESAA) is to support and enlarge the success of the Boy Scout movement and build fellowship among adult Eagles in San Diego and Imperial Counties. The ESAA achieves this purpose, by recruiting as many adult Eagle Scouts as possible to become Scouting volunteers, by supporting activities within the Council that promote the Scouts' advancement along the Trail to Eagle and by giving recognition to the young men who earn the rank of Eagle Scout.
The new BSA Scouting Alumni Association welcomes everyone positively and personally impacted by the Boy Scouts of America - former Scouts, family members of Scouts past and present, volunteers past and present, and the millions of Americans who benefit from Scouting in their communities every day-to join today.
By joining the Scouting Alumni Association, you'll stay up to speed on what's happening in Scouting and help youth experience the excitement, challenges, and adventure that Scouting has to offer.
This organization is separate from ESAA and covers all past scouts and leaders nationwide. Go to their website here, to join. Lots of discounts available to members.

Zane shared some insightful words on the importance of leadership, and Scout Executive Tim Thomton gave us an update on council activities. We congratulated our new life members and welcomed several new members who joined us for dinner. The evening highlight was in recognizing exceptional service to our council in two categories. Pam Dixon received the ESAA Distinguished Service Award for
Each year the ESAA members gather to support our council facilities and do a little planning for next year as well. The Annual ESAA Service Project and Retreat will be held on Saturday, November 7 at Mataguay Scout Reservation. We will meet at the "Barn" area at 9:00 AM and will work for a few hours on a project identified by the MSR Rangers. We will work from 9 AM - 1 PM, with lunch provided at 1 PM. Our planning meeting for 2016 will run from 2 PM - 4PM. We will have a group dinner at 6 PM at the Conference Center. Those who want an extended camp experience are welcome to stay the night at the Center in one of the Casita bunks.
All ESAA members are welcome and encouraged to come give back to our scouts through a little sweat and our future programs. For more information, please contact Vic Enchelmayer at firstname.lastname@example.org.
