New Scouting Alumni Association
The purpose of the San Diego - Imperial Council Eagle Scout Alumni Association (ESAA) is to support and enlarge the success of the Boy Scout movement and build fellowship among adult Eagles in San Diego and Imperial Counties. The ESAA achieves this purpose, by recruiting as many adult Eagle Scouts as possible to become Scouting volunteers, by supporting activities within the Council that promote the Scouts' advancement along the Trail to Eagle and by giving recognition to the young men who earn the rank of Eagle Scout.
Scout Fair Welcomes Eagles
The new BSA Scouting Alumni Association welcomes everyone positively and personally impacted by the Boy Scouts of America - former Scouts, family members of Scouts past and present, volunteers past and present, and the millions of Americans who benefit from Scouting in their communities every day-to join today.
By joining the Scouting Alumni Association, you'll stay up to speed on what's happening in Scouting and help youth experience the excitement, challenges, and adventure that Scouting has to offer.
This organization is separate from ESAA and covers all past scouts and leaders nationwide. Go to their website here, to join. Lots of discounts available to members.

Another year, another great Scout Fair! The ESAA was there on April 26 to meet and greet all Eagles, young and old, and to encourage those on the Eagle Trail. A big round of thanks to Bob Smith for once again coordinating the event for us and making our booth a point of interest at the Fair.
Eagle Recognition Dinner a Huge Success
Over 340 Eagles, adult sponsors and event staff attended the 2014 Eagle Recognition Dinner on April 29. Each year the council holds the dinner to honor all council Scouts who earned their Eagle Scout rank in the prior calendar year. This year the dinner was held at the Admiral Kidd Conference Center in Pt. Loma, with guest speaker Aaron Lansdau, Eagle Scout and World Explorer. Congratulations to all Eagles from 2013, and a hearty thank you to our sponsoring adults and to the team of volunteers who put together the event!
